Fascial Stretch Therapy helps people get out of pain, move easier, recover from injury and improve athletic performance using a gentle and pain free method.
But what is it?
It's an assisted stretching technique that is performed by a Certified Fascial Stretch Therapy Practitioner with the client on a treatment table.
Fascial Stretch Therapy is the art of manual therapy and movement merged with science.
Comfortable straps are used to stabilize the limb or part of the body that is not being worked on in order to facilitate complete relaxation.
This enhances the effectiveness of the treatment.
Traction along with modified PNF, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, is used throughout the stretching session to create optimal mobility of the joint capsule and the connective tissue.
Stretch More, Hurt Less, Perform Better: We provide Fascial Stretch Therapy to all people.
We help people who stretch (and haven’t yet found the right way to do it), and those who hurt from stretching too much, and also those seeking to perform better in their chosen sport.

Improved Flexibility, Performance, and Pain Reduction: Fascial Stretch Therapy is stretching made easier.
We provide you with a relaxing and effective therapeutic experience.
Fascial Stretch Therapy is a neuromyofascial manual therapy that is appropriate for clients of all ages and physical capabilities as each session is tailored to the individual’s needs.
Appointments start at your scheduled time and if you arrive early there is a break room right around the corner from the studio in which you are welcome to relax.
Your fascial stretch therapy session is performed on a treatment table.
One leg is gently restrained to prevent movement while the other leg is worked on.
Comfortable stretchy clothing should be worn such as yoga pants, jogging pants and a t-shirt to allow uninhibited movement. Soft relaxing music will be playing.
The client and therapist work together during the session to ensure pain is never felt and to find the most productive positions possible.
Modified PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) is used to increase range of motion and to release tight tissue and adhesions.
Each client of NOLA Stretch is treated with care and respect.
Before starting each appointment a verbal and visual assessment is made to evaluate any existing limitations and/or structural imbalances.
This is the point to fully communicate any pain, discomfort and limitations in movement and flexibility. Your expectations and goals for the session would be greatly appreciated at this time.
Your comfort is a priority during your treatment session and you are eagerly invited to say something if you ever experience discomfort of any kind.Your appointment at NOLA Stretch is conveniently located in a quiet studio in Metairie off of I-10 from the Causeway Blvd exit.
We are upstairs in the Pontchartrain Place Shopping Center. There is an elevator available for your convenience.
